Scale armor study

Last weekend I was talking with my son about how complex scale armor can be--he wants to make some. He's read Seaborn, likes the whole scale armor preference.  I've drawn Kassandra wearing armor dozens of times in Saltwater Witch, but it's always the minimum detail I can get away with--it's just too difficult to draw or paint her armor over and over and do it justice. A one-off painting is another deal. Last night, I spent a little time getting into what Kassandra's armor would actually look like--with most of the details.
