Character study

Two characters from my current book, not the protags, but central to the plot.  They're hunters of a sort, and they have some cool gear and powers.  These two show up in chapter 13.  I just went back, did some editing in 13, and really wanted to see what they looked like off the page--the page with words on it.

I always ask this, and don't get a lot of response: do you do anything to help you visualize your characters beyond written descriptions?  Do you draw them, assemble them from magazine photo cut-outs, take screenshots from movies or TV shows?
