Dude, where's your iPad?

According to UPS, which claims it will have it on my doorstep on April 3rd, it's right there in beautiful downtown Shenzhen with an ORIGIN SCAN and just this morning, BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED!

Saltwater Witch page development Following up from yesterday, here are a couple more sketches, this time scanned in and arranged a bit. I've included the finished page that began as the first sketch--with color and dialogue. I totally admit not having the layout thing down at all. I've attempted various designs throughout the comic, but I've stuck with none of them. Nanowhere - updated! Nanowhere...it's a love story with all the usual elements: rogue soldiers, computer hacking, tyranny, cryptography, hit-men with an affinity for rolled adhesives, rebellious skateboarders, and sentient billion-node self-organizing nanotech ghosts. Here's a clip of Cory Doctorow's kind words on Boing Boing in May of 2006. Hard to believe that was four years ago! Chris Howard has released a young adult sf thriller called "Nanowhere" ... along with a bunch of supplementary materials that purports to be the lab notes and publications of one of the book's characters. I just read the first couple pages and they're interesting and well-written ......
